| Purpose |
Minnesota
Women in Psychology (MWP) promotes the professional
development of women psychologists, informs members
about ideas and issues which affect women, develops
network and support-group systems, and takes action in
the best interest of Minnesota women. |

| Membership
Categories |
Regular
Members - Regular members in the organization hold
either a Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology from
a regionally accredited institution or have been
licensed as psychologists in Minnesota. Persons with
similar or equivalent training in a closely related
field will also be admitted to membership. This category
includes Ph.D. and Psy.D. candidates who have
successfully completed a prelim oral examination.
Affiliate Members - Affiliate members in MWP are any
other individuals interested in promoting the mission of
the organization. This category includes students who do
not yet have a master's degree. Affiliate members do not
vote or serve on the Steering Committee, but are welcome
to participate in all other ways. |

Regular and
Affiliate Members
* Income over $50,000 - dues are $75
* Income from $30,000-50,000 - dues are $60
* Income under $30,000 - dues are $45
* Student/minimally employed - dues are $25
Annual dues are based on a sliding scale according to
individual gross annual income.
The MWP membership year begins on October 1; those
joining between June 1 and September 30 do not have to
re-pay dues for the following membership year. |
